Grateful.
Do you know what I'm really grateful for? It's that here at the school I know of, at least, 20 people who really, really love both me and Jan Ole. (You're a stranger to me if you think I'm showing off. If you think that way, you don't know me at all.) This is me, taking time to reflect on the miracle that is love. Today 8 people told me that they loved me , and meant it. These were all Europeans who know the weight that those words carry. Isn't that amazing? Isn't it just astounding? People like me, even love me, from their heart. How is this possible?
They love, because someone amazing loved them first. That's why I accept their love with such happiness and gratitude, because they know what love really is.
